Ultra Sound Pictures....Sucking Thumb

You can "kind of" see the baby's profile, but it has its thumb in its mouth. You can see some of the fingers and arm here as well. Enjoy!

They said the baby is about 10 oz. and the head is 2 inches wide. We saw both sides of the brain, the four sections of the heart, and both kidneys. We didn't get to see a good profile because he/she always had hands in the mouth! Oh, and we also saw the jaw moving and sucking on fingers. Very weird and awesome at the same time.

Here you can see the baby facing down towards my back and the baby's spine is right under my belly button. In the bottom picture, you can see the baby's legs curled up under her/him. The big white spot is nothing...just the flash of the camera!

21 Weeks

My belly keeps growing...everyday! We have our ultra sound on Tuesday at 4:00! We are super excited to see the baby, but we are going to stress right away that we DON'T want to know if it's a boy or a girl. Brandon is sure it is a boy; Michelle is sure it is a girl. So, we'll see in September. Brandon won't put a picture of his belly on yet because it's still bigger than mine!

We bought baby furniture at Babies'R'us today and ordered navy and white baby bedding from Pottery Barn Kids online. We need to paint yet...that's the next project.

19 Weeks

The baby is growing tons and keeps on pushing my tummy out. I am carrying the baby right in the middle of my stomach, so my jeans still fit. (So happy.) We got the results of the Quad Screen yesterday, and everything came back normal. That's a relief. We go back to the doctor on Friday and then the ultra sound is scheduled for April 21, Erik's birthday!

Brandon goes back to work this week and he'll be in Lake Geneva. He'll have long days, but thankful to be back! It worked out perfectly that he goes back to work on the first day of my spring break!

Around the House

We picked up our car about two weeks ago. It's been great. The built in video games in the DVD player are a hit.

Brandon tries to pretend that he doesn't love Elly, but clearly you can see my current babies here together last weekend!
