More Visitors
Gabby had a hard time controlling her excitment at meeting Audrey for the first time. Brandon's grandma and grandpa also came up and met Audrey today. Great Grandma Toots got to feed Audrey her lunch!
AHHH...heading home!
Audrey is finally ready to go home! Check her out in that huge car seat...she is so cute! We can't say enough about the nurses and doctors in the NICU. They are incredible people that have very tough jobs!

Day 6...and so ready to leave St. Mary's
Currently Audrey is in a crib in a new spot in the NICU. After talking to the nurses, we all agreed that she was laying in the coldest spot in the room, so we moved her down a few beds....all of the nurses are pulling for her. One nurse even walked by when Brandon was taking her temperature and was chanting, "98.6, 98.6..." We need her to stay warm outside of the incubator all night long and then we "think" she will get to go home. Say a little prayer for her and send her warm thoughts.

Still at St. Mary's...
Well, it's officially Saturday night and we're still at St. Mary's. Audrey has now been taken off of all of her "tubes and cords" and moved into a crib. It was too hard for her to keep her body temperature up in the crib, so they put her back in the incubator to warm up. They are slowly trying to get her out of it, so that she can come home with us. This is our last hurdle before we get to go home.
Today she tried out her car seat and pooped all the way up her back to her armpits in the process. She quickly got a bath! Daddy is a pro at changing dirty diapers already! She is a great eater. We've "kind of" got this breast feeding thing figured out too. Hopefully we'll only be here two more days at the most...we are so excited to get her home!
